I am very excited for the upcoming “Hope 4 Earth” Event!  It is going to be pretty awesome! I encourage everyone in Cayman who is passionate about the environment to come out and support this wonderful event.  The Cayman Style Breakfast just sounds amazing!  I am looking forward to recycling a few items and checking out the eco expo.

Here are some more details about the event:

“Re-use” 6:30am to 10:00am Car Boot sales. People can pay a small fee for a space to sell their unwanted items.

“Re-cycle” 6:30am to 2:00pm.  There will be an easy drop off area provided with volunteers ready to assist for people to drop off their aluminum cans, scrap metal and car batteries.

“Eat local” 6:30am to 10:00am.  A hearty Cayman style breakfast with fresh locally produced ingredients will be available for just $10.

“Expo and Family Fair” 11:00am to 2:00pm.  There will be displays by local vendors of eco-friendly products, services and technology plus Earth Day themed activities and crafts for the children!
