I love elephants! Back in Toronto I came across this amazing organization called “Mr. Ellie Pooh LLC.”  They are an eco friendly, fair trade company and make products such as paper and exotic gifts using elephant poo. Fact: “Mr. Ellie Pooh’s paper products are 100% recycled.  They are made up of 50% fiber from elephant dung and 50% post consumer paper.” (http://mrelliepooh.com)  This is such a great initiative and I believe it will help create awareness about the elephant conflict in places like Sri Lanka, where unfortunately elephants are being killed at such an alarming rate.  

The fact that their paper products are “100% recycled” this allows for a wonderful eco friendly option for paper.  Did you know? “50% of the world’s forests have been cleared or burned, and 80% of what’s left has been seriously degraded.” Choose to be eco friendly and consider purchasing products made from elephant dung and recycled materials to help the environment and bring awareness to the endangerment of elephants around the world.
