Post Birthday Post… If you had a chance to read my birthday girl wishes post you already know I did a Roaring Twenties, Gatsby themed party.  It was  a blast!  I wanted to share with you some of the party inspirations. 1. The Invitation I did my best art deco, inspired invitation, keeping it as an evite. 2. Free Printable Table Decoration Just repurpose an old picture frame to display. 3. Birthday Greetings on a Champagne Bottle Forget birthday cards, (though i really love giving and receiving cards for any occasion) having guests write birthday wishes on a champagne bottle is a great keepsake. with love, xo

Rainy Days + Traveling Books

I just love summer rainy days and nights.  My favorite things to do when there is a downpour outside is to light my candles, read a good book, listen to music or watch black and white movies.  Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era because I love the classics and most things vintage.  Plus, I am absolutely fascinated by the Roaring 20’s.  –The Great Gatsby by F.Scott Fitzgerald is one of my all time favorite novels, it’s hard not to love Fitzgerald, and I admit I read it again before watching the movie this summer-. Traveling Books Yesterday, I came across two novels I am excited to read, at the Cayman Islands Humane Society Book Loft.  Bonus, I also found this lovely eco friendly bag which is made from repurposed newspaper!!  Remember, if you have books that you no longer read donate them to the Book Loft the proceeds will help benefit the animals.  If you haven’t been there then I recommend that you check it out, a small book loft filled …
