Ticktock, Drip Drop

  I am dedicating this post in honor of the upcoming World Water Day (22 March).  The first World Water Day was in 1993.  The United Nations General Assembly designated 22 March as World Water Day.  Since its inception, World Water Day is celebrated around the world, drawing attention to various water related issues. This year’s theme is “Water Is” Check out the video below for more details. I love this theme.  It is important to step back and take a moment to ponder what does water mean to us and our lives.  Water holds such incredible value.  Many times we take it for granted that there is fresh water available to us.  We have clean water to drink, clean with, and cook with.  However, there are many who are not as fortunate.  For instance, “1 in 9 people lack access to safe water” (Water.org). Spreading Holiday Cheer: Peace On Earth

  This morning’s post was all about Spreading Christmas Cheer: Goodwill to all.  In addition, I would like to raise awareness for some amazing environmental organizations both local and international.  In the words of Margaret Mead, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Below is a list of some fantastic environmental organizations- my hope is to help raise awareness for them.  Consider making a donation to help them in their efforts in protecting the environment and wildlife.
