The Real Pirates Of The Caribbean

Yo ho! It’s that time of year Pirates Week! This is the real Pirates of the Caribbean.  Today is a short but sweet post.  In the spirit of Cayman’s biggest festival Pirates Week,  Michelle and I teamed up to make our very own 1 of a kind t-shirts. I would like to take this opportunity to honor her dad, as it was Mr. Mike Lockwood who started this amazing festival.  I will always remember how much pride, passion and dedication he put into  creating such a spectacular event every year.  His legacy lives on through his daughter Michelle, and son Michael Lockwood.  My favorite memory of Pirates Week is watching the fireworks on the iron shore with my best friend and her family. So, my bestie and I repurposed some old white t-shirts and made these.  We used special fabric transfer paper to iron the design on.   Happy Pirates Week …

I think we owe it to ourselves when making resolutions to ask ourselves, did we make good resolutions?  Will we actually work hard at honoring them, and fulfill them.  With every beginning there is an end, and every end there is a beginning, so I wonder, do people really change with the bringing in of a new year? Will we ourselves change for the better? Will we give more to those in need and do more acts of kindness? Will we thank God more for the blessings in our lives?  As for the blessings that we find ourselves …
