PS- When the clock strikes 12…

sparkle3

As the echoes of memories of this year begin to fade out, the possibilities of change, hope and the excitement of new memories to be made draw in closer.

Well, it’s New Year’s Eve… When the clock strikes 12 at midnight, the ball will drop, the confetti will fall, the Champagne corks will pop, toasts will be made, the fireworks will soar fast, light up the sky, burn out and fade away into the night, and resolutions will be made.

I think we owe it to ourselves when making resolutions to ask ourselves, did we make good resolutions?  Will we actually work hard at honoring them, and fulfill them.  With every beginning there is an end, and every end there is a beginning, so I wonder, do people really change with the bringing in of a new year? Will we ourselves change for the better? Will we give more to those in need and do more acts of kindness? Will we thank God more for the blessings in our lives?  As for the blessings that we find ourselves fortunate to have, will we share them with others?  Will we approach each day with a little more humility, grace and compassion than we did before.  Will we strive to enrich the lives of others, as our friends and family have enriched our lives?  Will we actually take the time to reflect on our lives and the impact we make on those around us?

These are the myriad of thoughts racing through my mind, since I woke up at sunrise.

Cheers to making every moment count.  Make good choices.

Wishing you all, wherever you may be on this New Year’s Eve a safe, happy and blessed New Year.

with love, from Cayman xo
