Pink Champagne Sugar Cookies & Other Goodies

I love baking, especially at Christmas!  This was my first time baking with Pink Champagne.  First, I attempted to infuse Pink Champagne into the sugar cookie batter and bake.  However, that did not turn out  as planned.  To be honest, they tasted a bit tart.  Not to worry!  Later, I tried whipping up a Pink Champagne Buttercream Frosting.  Yum!  It just so happened, while I was baking my sister requested Candy-cane Sugar Cookies.   Pink Champagne Buttercream Frosting I used a recipe from Pillsbury.  However, due to my food allergies I had to modify it slightly. Make It Pop Like Pink Champagne

Post Birthday Post… If you had a chance to read my birthday girl wishes post you already know I did a Roaring Twenties, Gatsby themed party.  It was  a blast!  I wanted to share with you some of the party inspirations. 1. Thanks for the memories! Pink Champagne and Red Velvet Cupcakes was the way to end the night, and also makes a spectacular Birthday Breakfast. Now it is time to embrace and celebrate a new decade.  As far as I am concerned age is just a number and we are as old as we feel.  In the wise words of one of my favorite writers: “We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.” – George Bernard …
