Birthday Wishes, With Love From Boston xo

Hello from Boston! Today I am celebrating my birthday in my favorite city, Boston.  A little birthday tradition of mine is to help create awareness for some amazing charities.  This year, since I am in Boston I would like to give some love and attention to some incredible charities here.  I can’t forget about home, so I will also be sharing three of my favorite charities in the Cayman Islands which I have had the privilege of working with for some years now. Birthdays, tend to be days of reflection…  I just want to be able to say that I have lived and know that I gave this life all I had.  I have traveled and that has been grand! I am truly blessed to have met so many incredible people in this life.  I look forward to more of life’s adventures and I can’t wait to meet more wonderful people along the way.  I am so very thankful for my friends — they are the family we choose.  My family is the best, …

A Birthday Wish, xo

My birthday wish this year is to see more kindness, compassion, hope and love in this world.  A random act of kindness can go along way making someone’s day.  I think we all deserve to believe in miracles, hopes and dreams coming true- I guess I wish that for everyone too.  Sometimes it is the little things that remind us to always believe something wonderful is about to happen, or dreams, wishes, hopes and miracles do come true. The funny thing about birthday’s, is that there is something always so magical about them. I hope that never goes away. We should never lose that childish innocence we have in believing in the beauty of this world and the greater good in other people. We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.– George Bernard Shaw The older I get, the less I need presents. I love presents.  I appreciate the thought others put into buying them and I am always thankful for them.  Instead of presents this year, …

Make It Pop Like Pink Champagne

Post Birthday Post… If you had a chance to read my birthday girl wishes post you already know I did a Roaring Twenties, Gatsby themed party.  It was  a blast!  I wanted to share with you some of the party inspirations. 1. The Invitation I did my best art deco, inspired invitation, keeping it as an evite. 2. Free Printable Table Decoration Just repurpose an old picture frame to display. 3. Birthday Greetings on a Champagne Bottle Forget birthday cards, (though i really love giving and receiving cards for any occasion) having guests write birthday wishes on a champagne bottle is a great keepsake. with love, xo

Birthday Girl Wishes xo

Hello everyone!  I hope you all are having a beautiful day!  The weekend was crazy beautiful from a Masquerade Ball (will soon have a post on that with the behind the scenes of making the decorations) and then a pre-birthday party in 1920’s fashion. For me it’s the end of a beautiful era my roaring twenties are officially over.  Last night I celebrated the end of my twenties in true roaring twenties fashion (flapper girl costumes included) with a Gatsby themed party with some of the most amazing people I know! Thanks for the memories! Pink Champagne and Red Velvet Cupcakes was the way to end the night, and also makes a spectacular Birthday Breakfast. Now it is time to embrace and celebrate a new decade.  As far as I am concerned age is just a number and we are as old as we feel.  In the wise words of one of my favorite writers: “We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.” – George Bernard …

Birthday Wishes, With Love xo

On this lovely Sunday Morning, I am thankful to be celebrating another birthday.  My birthday wish this year, is more compassion and selflessness in the world.  A couple of years ago I started a tradition on my birthday, and that was donating to different charities.  The older I got, the less I was interested in presents for myself, but rather I wanted to focus on how I could give back.  God has truly blessed me, and there really are no gifts that I need, a lot of wants but no real needs.  I believe in blessing others with the blessings God has given me.  So for all of my lovely friends, and family who are reading this if you feel inspired to make a donation to one of the charities I have mentioned below in honor of my birthday please do.  It is far better that we give, even on a small scale, than to give nothing at all. Now, I would like to share with you the charities/ non-proift organizations I have …
