Juice Bars + Summer Days

Drinking all natural & 100% organic juices and smoothies that are full of flavor and jam-packed with healthy benefits is very in vogue right now- just as it should be.  Cayman is very blessed to have the one and only lovely Jessie’s Juice Bar located at Camana Bay.  The juice bar is stocked with vibrant fresh fruit and veggie juices, along with tasty savory eats and yummy treats.  It is the perfect place to stop by for a healthy lunch or smoothie while on the go. The decor is just fabulous! As it is very eco chic and environment friendly.  You will instantly fall in love with this place.  It is such a treat to find a place that repurposes items, and incorporates being environmentally responsible into their decor.  Overall, Jessie’s Juice Bar really sets the bar.  Simply put it is a wonderful local hot spot. Perhaps the essence of Jessie’s Juice bar is that it is a family run business which truly cares about offering fresh and healthy food and drink options.  Items …

Eco Chic: 4th of July Brunch with Sangria

4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! Fireworks, yummy food and time well spent with friends and family.  Over the weekend, I tested out some ideas for the quickly approaching 4th of July Holiday,- this Wednesday!  (not a public holiday here in Cayman).  So here are the goodies I came up with…. 1. Eco Chic Table Decor Every now and then it is nice to incorporate fresh flowers into your brunches, lunches, and dinner parties.  In the picture above are some fresh coral pink and white roses perfect trending summer colors!  The great thing about choosing roses is that later the roses can be repurposed to make potpourri and/or rosewater. 2. Sunday Brunch Sangria This was my first time making Sangria and thankfully it turned out pretty good. Ingredients: 1 Bottle of Red Wine ( I used an unfinished, half a bottle of Red Wine) 2-3 slices of orange 2-3 slices of lemon 6-8 slicked strawberries 1 small diced apple Chill overnight, and enjoy the next day! 3. American Flag Inspired Fruit Platter On …

Eco Eats: The Greenhouse

The Greenhouse is a wonderful treasure here in Cayman for all the environmental and diver enthusiasts.  Located at Lighthouse Point, (571, NW Point Road, West Bay) just before the Cayman Islands Turtle Farm.  The Greenhouse resides amongst a spectacular panoramic view of the always inviting Caribbean Sea.  One of my best friends introduced me to The Greenhouse and it was an instant favorite place to eat. I love being immersed in an eco friendly atmosphere.  The food is delicious, with so many healthy options!  The menu caters to those who are looking for Gluten Free, Paleo friendly and allergy friendly options.  One of my favorite dishes is the Brie Personal Pizza! Yum! For drinks it is always a toss up between the ever refreshing Lemongrass Moringa Tea (Locally Brewed by James Pedley) and the Banana Caramel Smoothie.  My advice, have both, you won’t regret it! The food is just one of the many reasons you will fall in love with this place.  The eco friendly mantra of The Greenhouse is admirable.  The are very supportive …
