How To Make Eco-Friendly Rustic Wine Glasses

It’s been a while since I dived into a eco-chic DIY project.  My latest project involved upcycling peanut butter jars into rustic wine glasses.  Bonus: I have included my summer White Wine & Elderflower Sangria. Mason jars have been the latest trend, and often used at rustic weddings or rustic soirees and dinner parties.  Well, move over mason jars, because peanut butter jars are the new rustic eco-friendly glass on the dinner table.  Whilst, I love mason jars repurposed as a drinking glass, I thought why go out and buy them just to be eco-friendly and on trend, when I can easily repurpose peanut butter jars?  When living an eco-friendly lifestyle it is great to find creative ways to upcycle, recycle, reuse and repurpose items you already have.  Recycling glass jars is fantastic! Eco Chic Baking Jars

  I have been on a bit of a baking kick lately.  I am hoping to have some recipes to share with you soon.  These jars are a bit of a lifesaver.  I am not a fan of having boxes and packets that can’t be properly closed after opening, so I started storing my baking ingredients in recycled & repurposed glass jars. Simple and fun DIY project.  I saved some spaghetti sauce jars and made some fun labels. Voila, Eco Chic Baking Jars. What You Will Need: recycled glass jars, and clear adhesive transfer paper.   What To Do: Design your labels in Word or Pages and print the labels onto the adhesive transfer paper.  Follow the steps on the packet.  I still had a few “whoops moments.”  It helps to print out extras incase of any mishaps.  Here is a video that I found most helpful. Repurpose Glass Jars & Wine Bottles the Eco Chic Way

  This week I wrote about recycling glass in Cayman, today I would like to share ways to repurpose glass. Glass Jars Instead of tossing out a glass jar that use to store spaghetti sauce or peanut butter, think of creative ways that you can repurpose those jars so that they have a functional value.   Here are some ideas… 5 Repurposed Glass Jars Ideas 1. Use them to store baking goods like flour, sugar and pancake mix. 2. Use them as candle holders. 3. Store fashion accessories and materials like needles & thread, buttons, pins etc 4. Store pennies for a rainy day. 5.
