PS- When the clock strikes 12…

As the echoes of memories of this year begin to fade out, the possibilities of change, hope and the excitement of new memories to be made draw in closer. Well, it’s New Year’s Eve… When the clock strikes 12 at midnight, the ball will drop, the confetti will fall, the Champagne corks will pop, toasts will be made, the fireworks will soar fast, light up the sky, burn out and fade away into the night, and resolutions will be made. I think we owe it to ourselves when making resolutions to ask ourselves, did we make good resolutions?  Will we actually work hard at honoring them, and fulfill them.  With every beginning there is an end, and every end there is a beginning, so I wonder, do people really change with the bringing in of a new year? Will we ourselves change for the better? Will we give more to those in need and do more acts of kindness? Will we thank God more for the blessings in our lives?  As for the blessings that we find ourselves …

A Pot of Gold

A  Pot of Gold: DIY Candle Holder You will need: a glass jar, glitter, mod podge and ribbon. Step 1. I chose not to completely cover the jar in gold glitter, so I reused some ribbon from Christmas presents and wrapped it around the jar, taping the ends together so it would …

Melted Snowman

Even though Christmas is now officially over, I would still like to share a fun and festive way to repurpose wine bottles.  I love to reuse them as chic water bottles.  For my Christmas Eve dinner party, I borrowed this idea from one of my best friends.  For tags I used business cards, and ribbon I had left over from previous Christmases.  What’s great is the tags can easily be used next Christmas.
