A while back you may have read “Got Eggs? Local.  Organic.  Sustainable.”  a feature on the Cayman Egg Farm run by brothers Shanan and Pasmore Harrison.  Today I will be updating you on their lovely, not-for-profit, Cayman farm. The Harrison brothers  have been pleasantly overwhelmed with growing support from the community and are doing their absolute best to meet the demand for their locally organic farmed eggs.  The strong support from the community has allowed them to continue maintaining their farm, providing excellent care for their hens, with an additional 25 hens, all of which are layers and don’t require a rooster. The proceeds continue to go towards Shanan’s ministry which has started a series of cooking classes for the youth and adults.  The cooking classes have been well received, and have been a blessing to both Shanan and the individuals who come to his cooking classes.  The youth are very enthusiastic and keen to learn.  There is a lot of educational value for them as they not only acquire lifelong practical cooking skills, but …
